ITS NOT SECRECY< IT'S PRIVACY

If you check the report, which I can assure you; very few do,
then you’re in a rather small percentage of the population. Sure you could consider yourself lucky (if you enjoy vulgar humor and inside jokes,
as well as the odd bit of mind numbing content,
and the little skateboard related tidbits that spring up from time to time).
But the truth is that barbs isn’t a well-known thing. Barbs was started as a little get-away, something to do, a place to share with the ‘homies’, a brain-stew.
I like to think of it as more of a website than a blog, but enough of what barbs is about though, because there’s more than a few explanations about what goes on here, and more than four hundred and twenty inside jokes throughout our Archive of Festivities.
What I want you to know is that if you have found your way here, well, we hope you enjoy it, because it really is a website for the people… however, saying that...
we don't self-promote. I have told very, very few people, and I never (intentionally) bring it up. Recently I was asked by someone who does frequent, why so much secrecy has been placed around it, and I thought I’d share.
Tthe reason I haven’t put it out there to be swarmed by the swarmers is because:
first) it’s kind of nice having something no one knows about. Like that skate trick you’ve been saving for your do-hickey of skateboarding video that’s not coming out for another few months. Sure you want to tell people, yeah I got this thing I’m happy with, I’m so proud, and believe me, we’re proud of what we’ve got going on here, but having something that not everyone knows about is rewarding, and keeps it from getting blown-out, which brings me to the
second point) If everyone knew about it, well, that’d influence the content. Sure we could keep up our classic ways, but if I knew a girl I wanted to make love to was checking this daily, there would be no hilarious snap-shot of titties at the top, or a lot of chronic based material, or whatever else has accumulated over our time spent together.

If your reading this, we appreciate it, & if you want to share it, be my guest, the more the merrier really, but try to keep it.. I don’t know what to tell you man, just enjoy it. Because you don’t know what you’ve got until it’s gone.
